Moto Magazine MXoN Video

The 2011 Motocross of Nations is a memory now, but if you haven't seen this excellent clip, spend 10 minutes and check it out. It will make you proud of the U.S.A. and also make you cringe at the roost being thrown at the St. D'Angely circuit. Looks painful.

Mike and Jeff Alessi Coming to RMS

The Alessi brothers, en route to the Liv Fast Cup at Exit 28, will be making a stop at RMS for an autograph signing this Thursday. Mike might be a good guy to see if you need advice with your starts.

Jim's Photo of the Week 9/18/11

Danny Hillyer laid into an Exit 28 berm today and Jim Huebner was there at just the right moment to catch this mini madness. Nice style, Danny.

MXoN Preview

Are you ready for the Motocross of Nations? While nationalism is surely overrated in some respects, when it comes time for the MXoN, can you say U.S.A.? How about over and over again and at the top of your lungs?

Get 'em, team. Here's Moto Magazine's MXoN preview.

The Smage Brothers on America's Got Talent

I'm not sure I'd want to be the non-riding part of this act, but it's pretty cool to see trials riding get some TV time.

Race Action from Two Continents

Both the AMA Nationals and FIM Grand Prix Series had their penultimate rounds this past weekend, and there was great racing in both Southwick and Gaildorf. Here are the highlights from the AMA circuit, where the 450cc series leader, Ryan Villopoto, tightened his grip on his points lead, and Dean Wilson clinched the 250cc title with one race to spare...

...and here's the action from the MX2 class at the German GP, where Ken Roczen sought to wrap up his own title one round early over Jeffrey Herlings.

Southwick Highlights

It's down to the wire as two rounds remain in the AMA Nationals. With only Steel City and Pala left to run, Ryan Dungey and Ryan Villopoto are the two men left standing in the 450cc title chase, and the 250cc and Women's championships are still up for grabs as well.

Check out the highlights from last weekend's race at Southwick. Watch for Dungey's frantic charge onto the track after missing nearly the entire first lap of the second moto due to mechanical issues. Dungey's effort kept him in the title chase as he finished a remarkable seventh in the moto after entering the track just ahead of leader and moto winner Justin Barcia (who was beginning his second lap!)
